New Challenges in the Trade Show Industry

It has come to my knowledge in the recent months that there are many new companies showing up in the trade show industry that are causing problems in the trade show market. I have heard from customers and fellow competitors about cheap, low quality displays and uniformed, out of touch sales representative from other companies. This has been known in the industry for some time but it has dramatically increased in the past 6 months. This creates a challenge for quality trade show companies to inform online shoppers of these issues before it’s too late.
It these uncertain economic times with many industries loosing revenue and unemployment on the rise, it is more important than ever to make wise and practical investment decisions in advertising. These new trade show companies are selling poor quality products that are causing frustration to customers and wasting advertising dollars. Never be afraid to ask “where does this display come from” or “what are the specific details on the warrantee”. These questions will help you avoid cheap, low quality products.
Do not get caught up in price hunting at first. So many people will just try to find the lowest price and make there decision based on that, but the most important thing to look for in trade show products is value and service. In many cases the lowest price will also be accompanied by the highest value and best service.
Be very careful with your display purchase and do not be afraid to ask specific questions about a company or their products. It is a large investment and should be taken very seriously.
There are companies out there, like Smash Hit Displays that want to provide great products service to our customers and we are trying our best to make that known to online shoppers. Whenever you are shopping around just make sure to ask the right questions and make sure that you are getting the best product for your money.

1. Cheap doesn't have to be bad, you can use low cost displays nothing wrong with that.

2.Never buy a product with out a "father and a mother", some one who is responsible for your satisfaction and could get in touch with you when ever you need him.

3. Dont by Displays online, the only way to be sure is to check the product yourself.

I am sure you would agree with me on it.

1. Cheap isn't bad if you want a bad product that you will have to replace all the time.

2. Agreed having a representative available at all times is very important.

3. I completely disagree with you. Buying from a brick and morter store is great if you want to spend twice the money on the same product. If you buy from a reputable online retailer then there is nothing to worry about. We only sell products that we have tested and used ourselves. We also offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so if the product is not what we described you don't have to pay for it.
