Well, conventional wisdom would dictate that if one wishes to make the most out of their trade show experience they'll use the expertise offered by trade show pros. I just put down the phone from a prospect interested in tradeshow training. Why do they feel they need it, because they noticed really poor behavior from all of their salespeople at their major '06 shows.

Your people are your ambassadors on the show floor. They can easily make and break relationships based on their behavior. If your prospects can't differentiate your products from the competition, they are going to buy from people they like and they trust. Do your salespeople pass the litmus test?

Tradeshow exhibiting can be (and should be!) one of the most profitable and cost-effective means for promoting your company and its products and services.
But, you must know the process or you really will be wasting your time and money.

Please don't wait until you have to pick up the pieces! Make sure that your people have the skills to work a show so that you are guaranteed the success you want!
